Demonstration of AISMA
Station master is a big link for safe train running in railways. All Station Master Association office barrier was standing for long pending demand. In the past also the station masters had raised their voice for this. Now once again the organization of AISMA i.e. Railway Station Master Association performed a dharna in front of the DRM office with flag banners in their hands for their main demand. In this, the Station Master of the TIRUCHIRAPALLI Railway Division participated in large numbers.
Attandance
There were 79 comrades of AISMA
participated in the divisional demonstration on 22/10/2021.
What is their Demand ?
In demonstration Branch office barrier said that In any case, we will be take our demands. He called upon the his comrades to unite. He Expressed their indignation by raising slogans, the Comrades announced to continue the agitation till they got their rights. In this demonstration he demanded following demand about Alarming vacancy position . He said that Mother of all problems faced by our cadre today. We have 93 vacancies out of 538 sanctioned strength. So, almost 20% of the total.
He also added about Denial of leave even for genuine cause: It has become order of the day that leave of 10days or more will be sanctioned once in 6 months for individual. It may become once in a year in near future.
In this demonstration pointed out about Restriction to avail 10days CL at a stretch. But Nowhere it is mentioned in leave rules. An employee is eligible for 10 days CL in a calendar year. This is what the rule says. Let Sr.DOM & Sr.DPO come out with any rule provision which says it cannot be availed in a stretch.
Our cadre have facing Heavy punishment for absent/overstayal on leave.
When the reasons like sister/brother marriage, parent's health care etc., are turned down & leave denied means the employee have no other go than going on absent. But for that giving harsh punishment like reduction in pay etc for years together is not heard of in the past.
He raised his demand about Restoration of leave sanctioning power to zonal SMRs.
Not more than 3 days leave can be sanctioned by zonal SMR at present. Leave sanctioning power to in charge SS, please note not zonal SMR, is hard fought won right of our cadre. But why it is taken back now?
In this meeting comrads John Robert Woodridge was Roaring on Administration and told to his comrades . Rabbits get hunted. Roaring lions only will get their share.
Prove that we are worth of the salt we take and rally around AISMA to get back the pride & privileges of SMs.
If one hesitate now he has to suffer till the end.
In which place they were came ?
A large number of people from Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Nagapattinam, Virudhachalam, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruvarur had arrived in this demonstration.
Who Addressed to cadare ?
Many AISMAN addressed this meeting to his cadare. Among of them John Robert Woodridge SS/TJ, K.Marimuthu SS/GOC, P. Balasubramaniam SS/SRGM. Mohandurai SS/VM etc.

DSF/TPJ given Thanks to all who have attended without taking rest and who are and supported AISMA. said Today we have successfully conducted Demonstration in front of the DRM office. More than 77 comrades participated in this Demo.It has been shown our unity and strength.
After completion of Demonstration Ex- central secretary finance K.Marimuthu, Divisional Precident Trikotti and divisional secretary Sugandhan Pradeep handed over 2 pages memorandum to our Sr.Dom Sri HariKumar and DRM Manish Agrawal.
